Kitten Information
*** No kittens will be offered as potential breeding cats unless to an approved, established breeder with references.***
Kittens are usually available to go to their new homes at approximately 14-16 weeks of age. Birman babies are learning life experiences from their mother, their siblings, and their people during this early time in their life, which helps to produce well adjusted, loving kittens. During this time, they will mature physically and have the social stability needed for their new home and life.
Our current price for pet kittens is $2,000 but may change without notice due to increased costs. This price includes veterinary examinations, deworming, microchipping and all "age appropriate" vaccinations minus a rabies vaccination as we prefer to have this vaccination given at an older age. We also test all kittens for FeLV and FIV and we guarantee the kitten is FeLV and FIV negative when it leaves here. After the kitten leaves here we have no control over the environment in it's new home.
We offer early spay or neuter at my cost, typically around 14 weeks of age but prefer the kitten is spayed/neutered after 6 months of age. This allows the immune system to mature.
We also include a 30 day starter health insurance policy for your new pet thru Trupanion at no charge to the new owner. Just as we need health insurance so do our pets as the cost of veterinary services has gotten so expensive.
The kitten will go home with food that I have been feeding, both wet and dry, nail clipper, blanket, toys and an information packet on much of what I have learned over forty years of breeding, showing and living with Birman cats.
We have a Prospective Buyer Questionnaire that we request anyone interested in adopting a kitten from us fill out and submit so we can better understand what you are looking for in a kitten. To access the "Prospective Buyer Questionnaire" click on the link above in red text. You can also access this "Questionnaire" from the tabs on the left side of the "Home Page". Please note, this "Questionnaire" is a fillable form and can be submitted via the website.
If you would like to reserve a kitten we require a $200, non-refundable deposit via PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or personal check.* This will hold a kitten for you until the kitten is ready to go to it's new home. Final payment is in cash and due before the kitten leaves here.
We do not ship our kittens via cargo on planes. Kittens can be hand carried on planes by the new owner or we can offer a "pet nanny" to transport/carry the kitten on the plane and meet the new owner at the destination airport. I can also make arrangements to deliver the kitten myself. If any of this is of interest, please contact me for additional information.
